Neko Case believes that her parents should not have had her. As she says in this interview they were just children themselves, and we talk about how that realisation and her upbringing has informed who she is as a person and how she’s pursued her career.
Neko also looks at her path to becoming a musician, first as a drummer and then moving into singing and playing guitar, and reflects on some of the formative moments in that journey, as well as opening up about her creative process and the realities of being a professional musician.
